My first day in Islamabad was nothing short of amazing! From the warm welcome at the Avari Express Hotel to the exhilarating ride through the city, there was so much to see and experience. Here’s a glimpse into my unforgettable day:

After flying in from London, I settled into the Avari Express Hotel. The cozy ambiance and delicious cakes and biscuits made it a perfect place to unwind. But I wasn’t here to relax for long! Eager to explore, I hopped onto a motorbike with my guide Kamran. We rode through Islamabad’s lush green streets, passing by the breathtaking Faisal Mosque. With its grand architecture, it’s truly a sight to behold.

During our journey, we also visited a local fire station. It was inspiring to meet the brave firefighters, who were called into action as we arrived. Watching their professionalism and teamwork left a deep impression on me.

We then made our way to the Margalla Hills. The panoramic views of Islamabad from the hills were absolutely stunning, giving me a whole new perspective on the city. Finally, we returned to the Faisal Mosque for a closer look at its architectural beauty. This mosque is truly one of the world’s largest and most awe-inspiring.
