How do I hire an expert on ConnectLabours?
Browse our categories or use the search bar to find the expert you need. Review their profile, ratings, and past work, then click Hire to send an inquiry. You can message them directly before committing. Once you agree on the scope and deal, the service begins.
Are the experts verified and ID-checked?
Yes — every expert on ConnectLabours goes through our identity verification process before their profile goes live. Look for the Verified badge on profiles. This confirms their identity has been checked. We also verify business licenses for licensed trades where applicable.

ConnectLabours is headquartered in Astoria, Oregon and primarily serves the Pacific Northwest — including Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. We also have experts available nationally for remote services. Coverage is expanding state by state throughout 2026.

How do I register as an expert on ConnectLabours?
Click Register as Expert on the homepage. Complete your profile including your specialty, service area, experience, and upload your ID for verification. Once approved (usually within 24–48 hours), your profile goes live and you can start receiving inquiries.
Is it free to register as an expert?
Yes — creating a basic expert profile is completely free. We offer optional premium service packages for greater visibility in search results, featured placement, and higher inquiry limits. View our pricing page for details.
How do I get more clients and improve my visibility?
Complete your profile 100%, add a professional photo, list your specific skills and service areas, and collect reviews from past clients. Experts who respond to inquiries within 2 hours rank higher in search. Upgrading to a featured listing also significantly increases profile views.
Can I offer services in multiple categories?
Yes. You can list services under multiple categories as long as you have the relevant experience or credentials. Each category listing is managed separately, and each can have its own description, pricing, and availability.
Payments & Deals
How does payment and deal-setting work on ConnectLabours?
The deal (pricing) is agreed directly between you and the expert before any work begins. ConnectLabours provides the platform and messaging tools — payment is handled between parties using your preferred method. Service packages purchased through our WooCommerce store are processed securely via Stripe or PayPal.
What payment methods are accepted for service packages?
For ConnectLabours service packages and subscriptions, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-DSS compliant. We do not store card details on our servers.
Can I get a refund on a service package?
Service packages may be refunded within 7 days of purchase if unused. Once a package has been activated and inquiries have been made, we cannot issue a full refund. Contact our support team at support@connectlabours.com within the refund window.
Account & Profile
How do I create an account on ConnectLabours?
Click Register in the top navigation. You can sign up as a Supporter (looking to hire) or as an Expert (offering services). Fill in your name, email, and password. A confirmation email will be sent — click the link to activate your account.
How do I reset my password?
Go to the login page and click Forgot Password. Enter your registered email address and we'll send a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see it.
Can I be both a Supporter (client) and an Expert?
Yes. One account can serve both roles. Switch between Supporter and Expert modes from your dashboard. This is useful if you hire other experts for your business while also offering your own services on the platform.
How do I delete my account?
Account deletion requests can be submitted via your Account Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. Your data will be permanently removed within 30 days in compliance with applicable US privacy laws. Note that completed order records may be retained for legal purposes.
Trust & Safety
What happens if an expert doesn't deliver the service?
Report the issue through your dashboard using the Report Expert feature. Our trust and safety team reviews every complaint within 48 hours. Experts who receive substantiated complaints are suspended or removed from the platform. We take service delivery seriously.
How do reviews and ratings work?
After a service is completed, both the Supporter and Expert can leave a review. Reviews are verified — only users who completed a transaction can leave feedback. Ratings are on a 1–5 star scale. Fake reviews are prohibited and removed immediately.
Is my personal information safe on ConnectLabours?
Yes. ConnectLabours uses SSL encryption on all pages, stores passwords using bcrypt hashing, and never sells your personal data to third parties. We comply with US data protection standards. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
How do I report suspicious activity or a spam profile?
Use the Report button on any profile or listing. You can also email our safety team directly at safety@connectlabours.com. We review all reports within 24 hours and act swiftly to remove fraudulent profiles.
