On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Warrenton Community Library invites you to a night to remember as part of the Library After Dark series. This isn’t just your ordinary book talk! Author Ferrell Hornsby will be in the spotlight, sharing her fascinating journey of writing stories that captivate hearts and spark imaginations. Starting at 4 p.m., she’ll give a behind-the-scenes look into her research, her writing process, and what fuels her passion for creating characters who live beyond the pages.
And let’s not forget her remarkable journey of perseverance. Ferrell began writing at a tender age, encouraged by her grandmother, and powered through the inevitable first rejection letter at twelve! After all, what’s a few rejection letters when you’re destined to be a published author, right? It took the insistence of her children to push her to finally share her beloved stories, and now she’s the proud author of four novels and fifteen children’s books. Talk about a plot twist! 📖✨
Get ready to dive into a world of historical romance, suspenseful adventures, and emotional connections that will tug at your heartstrings. Whether you’re a fan of historical settings or you just enjoy a good, old-fashioned love story, Ferrell’s books promise something for everyone. Oh, and did we mention chocolate ice cream? Ferrell’s life has been one sweet adventure since she married her soulmate in 2011. Ice cream and travel are a must for this dynamic duo! 🍫🌍
